CAA January-February 2026 Latest News Bulletin

Fasten Your Seat Belts!  YOUR CAA’s 2025-26 fiscal year promises to be both exciting and rewarding with many events on the immediate horizon. Checkout the Events Calendar and the corresponding referenced sections on the website.  Many highlights are listed below illustrating YOUR Alumni Association’s continuing “Giving Back” partnership commitment to our schools, alumni, students, faculty, patrons and communities at large.

Presentation of 2026 CAA Donation for C-NP School District Teacher of the Year

The CAA sincerely appreciates the outstanding faculty within the C-NP School District.  Their dedicated commitment to their profession and their tireless efforts on behalf of our students are worthy of commendation and recognition not only on special occasions but throughout the year.  YOUR CAA will present a $2000 donation for the 2026 C-NP District Teacher of the Year Ceremony at the March 9, 2026 C-NP School Board meeting.  The CAA will also continue its tradition of providing volunteer support during the event.

2026 CAA Scholarships

Following the 2026 scholarship presentations, the CAA will have awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to CHS Seniors since 2022.  Funding for these and future scholarships is made possible by generous donations from CHS Alumni and our local business/community partners – especially through their collective participation in and support of the CAA’s primary fundraising efforts: the Annual Alumni Golf Tourney and the All Class Reunion.

YOU can also help fund the CAA Scholarships by making a tax-deductible donation to the CAA.  Click on the Donate/Pay Now link to do so.

CAA Scholarship Donations – 2026 Matching Funds Challenge

Dr Robby Whiteley {CHS Class of 1970} has generously offered to continue matching any donation made for CAA Scholarships (“dollar for dollar” up to $5000) for another year.  This is in addition to the $5000 for CAA Health Profession Scholarships that Dr Whiteley and family are funding annually.  We sincerely appreciate Dr Whiteley’s passion and commitment to the “young learners” of his alma mater.  We are also thankful for several other CHS Alumni who generously support CAA Scholarship initiatives with their annual donations.  We encourage others to join in these most worthwhile of investments – CAA Scholarships – as we attempt to fulfill our “Pursue The Future” mission objective.

2026 CHS Alumni Golf Tourney

The Annual CHS Alumni Golf Tourney sponsored by the CAA is scheduled for Friday, June 5th, at the John Conrad Golf Course in Midwest City.  Modified Shotgun Start will be at 8:00 am.  Check the Golf Tournaments page for online registration, payment, and more details.  Get your teams assembled and registered now.

2026 CHS All Class Reunion – Sponsored by the CAA

The 2026 CHS Alumni All Class Reunion is scheduled for the afternoon and evening of Saturday, June 13th at Choctaw Middle School (CMS.)  All CHS Alumni/Family/Friends and C-NP Schools Administration/Faculty/Staff are invited to attend/participate.  Any class celebrating a “Milestone Reunion Year” will receive special recognition.  The Classes of 1976 and 1966 will join us for their 50th & 60th Reunion celebrations respectively.

The event will include a no-charge Social from 4-6 pm in the CMS foyer area where Silent Auction and Raffle drawing items will be available for viewing/bidding.  A catered meal ($30/person), brief program, and individual/group photos will follow from 6-7:30 pm.  Raffle drawing (for a Nancy Griffin custom quilt) and Silent Auction winners will be announced at 7:30 pm.  More details are posted on the Class Reunions page.

Note: Reunion attendees can make a special donation for the Museum along with their Reunion reservation payments.  All donations received in this manner will be transferred directly to the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools Museum Association (CNPSMA) following the 2026 All-Class Reunion.

C-NP Schools Museum Association (CNPSMA)

The CNPSMA Board leadership is meeting quarterly and developing plans to transition the Museum from its current location in the C-NP District Administration Building to the new Museum area currently under construction.  Read more about the CNPSMA and the Museum on the CAA Website’s History section.
