CAA 2023 Seasons Greetings & The Year That Was

Season’s Greetings from Your Alumni Association.  Your CAA Board extends to each of you and your loved ones our sincere wishes for a Merry Christmas and a blessed holiday season. 

2023 Year-End Charitable Giving: 

2023 was a banner year of “Giving Back” for Your CAA thanks to the generous support and donations from individuals, our Business/Community Partners & Sponsors and all who participated in our sponsored endeavors.

Your continued donations and participation will help make 2024 another great CAA Partnership year.   If year-end charitable giving is in your plans, please consider Your CAA as a recipient of your tax-deductible gift(s.)  Your donations will help fund/support: five $2000 scholarships to CHS Seniors in the 2023-24 academic year; the C-NP Schools Teacher of the Year event; the Annual Alumni Golf Tourney; the All Class Reunion Gala; and multiple other activities supporting C-NP students, faculty, and alumni.  Please note that in order to receive IRS credit for 2023 charitable giving, online donations via SQUARE must be received no later than 31 December 2023.  Donations sent via USPS must be postmarked by that date.  Thanks in advance for your consideration.  { Donate – Choctaw Alumni Association (CAA) }

The Year That Was – 2023 CAA Highlights:

  • CAA Giving Back Efforts – Your CAA donated $17,183.82 during 2023  supporting alumni, students, and faculty of C-NP Schools and our respective communities.  These efforts included the:  
  • CAA Website Enhancements: Multiple updates were made to improve website functionality and navigation.  The CAA website – choctawalumni.org – continues to be the preferred communication conduit for dissemination of CHS Alumni related correspondence and information for all CHS Classes.
  • Continued Partnership with Leadership of C-NP School District & C-NP Public Schools Foundation (CNPPSF): Attended multiple School Board & CNPPSF meetings, provided volunteer support as required, and provided publicity/volunteer support for the CNPPSF’s annual Shrimp Boil fund-raising event for teacher grants.
  • Publicized/Attended/Supported 2023 Reunions/Events for CHS Classes/Alumni/Students: Provided pre/post-event publicity, attendance, and/or taking/posting pictures for multiple alumni and/or school-related events.
