Help YOUR CAA Fund 2024 Events/Projects
“THANK YOU” for all that you did to support YOUR CAA in 2023 and what you will do this year. Three “very special” CHS Alumni recently donated a combined $4500 to help fund our 2024 CAA Scholarships. A hearty “YELLOWJACKET THANK YOU” for these most generous donations along with those from our Business/Community Partners & Sponsors.
These donations along with YOUR continued participation and support of YOUR CAA’s two annual fundraisers – the Alumni Golf Tournament and the All-Class Reunion Gala – are essential. Check out the CAA Giving Opportunities and make a Donation Now to YOUR CAA!!!
2024 CAA Scholarships – Application Deadline – February 16, 2024
Deadline for receipt of completed CAA Scholarship application packets is Friday, February 16th. 2024 – just over three weeks away. Submit packets to CHS Counselor Mr. Ryan Farquhar. The CAA Scholarships are substantial – $2000 each. Current plans are to award five (5) CAA Scholarships for the 2023-24 school year.
2024 CAA Scholarship recipients will be formally introduced during a presentation at the March 11, 2024 C-NP School District School Board meeting.

CAA Presentation of C-NP District Teacher of the Year Donation
The CAA sincerely appreciates the outstanding faculty within the C-NP School District. Their dedicated commitment to their profession and their tireless efforts on behalf of their students are worthy of commendation and recognition not only on special occasions but throughout the year.
In this vein, the CAA will present a $1,000 donation to the C-NP School District at the School Board Meeting on April 8,2024 in support of the District Teacher of the Year Ceremony on April 16, 2024. The CAA will also continue its tradition of providing volunteer support during the event.
2024 Alumni Golf Tourney – Friday, June 14, 2024
The Annual CHS Alumni Golf Tourney sponsored by the CAA is scheduled for Friday, June 14th, at the John Conrad Golf Course in Midwest City. First tee time will be at 8:00 am. Tee times will be assigned on a first-come basis. Check the Golf Tournaments page for online registration and more details. 2024 CAA Reunion Gala – Saturday, June 22, 2024 & Planning Started
This is an All-Class event with special recognition for any class celebrating a “Milestone Reunion Year.” The Classes of 1974 and 1964 will have attendees joining us for their 50th and 60th Reunion celebrations respectively. Other “Milestone Reunion Year” classes are also welcome and encouraged to join us. More information on the 2024 Gala will be forthcoming and posted on the Class Reunions page.
Other 2024 “Milestone Events”
If your class is celebrating a Milestone or any other event/gathering, YOUR CAA can help publicize your event – IF we know about it. We will:
- Post your event info on the Events Calendar and in the Class Reunions section.
- Include it in our email correspondence and in CHS-related Facebook group posts.
Let us know and stay informed by:
- Completing the Reunion/Event Notification form in the Events-Reunions section;
- Using the website’s Contact Us capability;
- Sending us an email at info@choctawalumni.org or reunions@choctawalumni.org;
- Providing your Alumni Contact Info and encouraging your classmates to do so as well.
CAA Leadership/Volunteer Openings – We Need YOUR Help!!!
YOUR CAA has been extremely blessed with competent and dedicated leadership since its inception. However, YOUR CAA needs an “infusion” of CHS Alumni from the 1970s onward who are willing to volunteer their time and talents in multiple areas including: CAA Board Treasurer (alternate/trainee); CAA Board Secretary; CAA Publicity/Website Coordinator (alternate/trainee); CAA Board member; Event/Social Committee member; other Committee member.
